2017 was a fantastic year for FC Colorado - Here are some highlights

Typically the Annual State of the Club would go out January 1st, but as this is the first time we have put together this update it took us a bit longer. 2017 was a tremendous year for FC Colorado. Here are some highlights:

At the request of Colorado Soccer Association (CSA) we have grouped all of our CityClubs (Aurora, Ft Morgan, Greeley) under one umbrella organization - FC Colorado. Each will retain their own identity as FC Aurora, FC Ft. Morgan and FC Greeley.

Lance Williams is now CEO of FC Colorado and will work directly with Sporting Directors in all of our CityClubs to help them build their programs and liaison with State, Regional, and National Associations. He will also continue to seek new markets and partners for FC Colorado’s growing brand.

Ramiro Loera is now Sporting Director of FC Aurora. He will manage all staff of FC Aurora and tend to the club’s day-to-day needs.

Marvin Iraheta is now Sporting Director of FC Ft Morgan. He will manage all staff of FC Ft Morgan and tend to the club’s day-to-day needs.

Vicente Vega is now Sporting Director of FC Greeley. He will manage all staff of FC Greeley and tend to the club’s day-to-day needs.

For the first time FC Greeley registered a team in every age group offered by CSA on the boys side of the program and built a PreAcademy girls team.

FC Colorado purchased and renovated 1712 9th Street Greeley, CO to serve as the club’s office space.

FC Colorado received a field development grant from CSA to build a 9v9 field at New Hope on the North East side of Greeley.

FC Colorado received a grant from CSA to partner with the City of Kersey Recreation Department to launch and help nurture Kersy’s first in-house soccer program.

FC Colorado was a founding member of the UPSL Colorado Pro Development League and progressed to the semi-final of the inaugural season.

FC Colorado established a relationship with MVP Exchange of Brazil to bring Brazilian youth players to Colorado to prepare them for college soccer in the United States of America.

2018 looks to be a very busy year with continued growth. We are excited to continue to offer top quality programming at a reasonable price. The FC Colorado Family will thrive in 2018.
