The 09B traveled to Castle Rock Saturday morning to face a well coached opponent. From the beginning of the game, it was clear that both teams would create chances to score. After a few good combination plays between Giancarlo Conchas, Isaac Martinez, and Liam Burack FCG was able to put the ball in the net 4 times as the opponent would score once before half time. Second half was mostly defensive for FCG as defender  Juan Gordo and goalkeeper Eli Alexander were fearless to block many shots. Misael Aceviz also played a key role in the game as he would step in and play the defensive role that he usually doesn’t play in. Storm would score 3 late goals but Isaac Martinez had already widen the lead with another two goals. Final score was 6-4 win for our very talented promising team.
