The boys faced off against a tough opponent Casa Inter. David was able to open the game up with the first score for FCG. There was a lot of control and attempts by FCG but they were not able to place the ball in the net. Casa was able to take control and make their first goal. Diego was not about to let them take the lead and he was able to put another ball in for FCG. Joel also showed skill in his new position and was able to make another in for FCG. To close out the half Casa did make a finally attempt and made a goal closing half 3-2.

Second half Casa’s came out strong and with a different attitude than the first half.  They were able to take control of the second half and scored 2 back to back goals. The game started to get heated and Casa’s players could not control their tempers. One of their players was asked to leave the game for attacking one of our players. The tempers did not stop there as FCG capitalized on a penalty bringing the score 4-4. Casa’s had a parent that was not happy about the penalty and became disrespectful and was also asked to leave the field. He continued to interrupt the game and the ref decided to call the game early. FCG was disappointed as we are confident the boys were going to be able to score one more. Final score 4-4.

Thank you to our parents and players for remaining respectful and not acting on the other teams example. We as a club are proud of our boys for representing us in a respectful manner and not retaliating to the situation. Good job boys!
