What an excited game today. The boys had a rough start and were down during the first half against Real Colorado Edge. We had a hard time communicating and passing the ball. Chris was able to put FCG on the board before going into half-time 1-3.

Coach Lance took the boys at half-time and they reorganized and were able to come out with fight during the second half. Cristian was able to start off by scoring and bringing it 2-3. Real wasn’t happy and were able to answer back with a goal. Our boys were able to communicate and start putting pressure on Real and Chris was able to score again bringing it 3-4! FCG gave Real slack and Real was able to score 2 bringing their lead 3-6. Our boys were not ready to give up and they dug deep to work as a team and turn it around. They started moving the ball and passing up field. David was able to score closing the gap. Cristian was able to break away and score another. The pressure was high and FCG scored one more bringing it a tie 6-6 with 5 minutes to go. The last 5 minutes felt like a lifetime for parents. The boys kept the ball on the opponent's half but were unable to capitalize on the last few shots ending the game 6-6. Good job boys, you fought hard and were able to come from behind!
